Beyond the Resume: Personal Branding & Career Growth for Engineers
Course Description:
Are you a student preparing to enter the job market, or an early-career engineer feeling stuck, overlooked, or unsure how to take the next step?
Are you applying for jobs for months, and yet no luck?
This masterclass is for you. Led by Sam Maleki, a successful engineer, entrepreneur, and mentor, this session dives into the career-building skills no one teaches in school: how to craft your personal brand, communicate your value beyond technical skills, and create opportunities through visibility and strategic networking.
Drawing from real-life experience, Sam shares what he wishes he knew early on—how non-technical communication can open doors, how to position yourself for growth, and how to take control of your career path.
Whether you’re job hunting, feeling stagnant, or simply want to unlock new possibilities, this session will give you the practical tools, clarity, and confidence to move forward with purpose and stand out in today’s competitive industry
