This course introduces the fundamentals of power grid resilience, focusing on how to strengthen grid infrastructure to withstand & recover from extreme events. Participants will learn key concepts such as the resilience framework, the difference between resilience & reliability, how to model resilience + strategies for assessing & improving it. The course will also explore the impact of climate change on power grids and provide tools for effective resilience planning.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to define grid resilience and its importance, identify extreme events and their impacts, understand the resilience framework, differentiate between structural, integrative, and transformative resilience, and implement key resilience measures. They will also be able to use resilience curves and charts for performance assessment, conduct risk assessments, compare resilience and reliability, learn resilience modeling fundamentals, and grid planning, and apply the resilience matrix to prioritize strategies for strengthening power grids.

3. Certificates of Completion
- A Certificate of Completion is issued upon successful completion of the course and associated quiz (when applicable).
- To receive your certificate, users must complete the course and the final quiz.
4. Use of Content
- All videos, quizzes, documents, and downloadable materials are the intellectual property of ElectroMentors or its instructors.
- You must not reproduce, distribute, resell, or publicly share any course materials without prior written permission. These actions are strictly prohibited.
5. Payment and Refunds
- Course fees (if not included in a subscription plan) are processed securely via WordPress Plugin, Stripe, or PayPal.
- Due to the nature of digital content, refunds for on-demand courses are not issued once access has been granted.

6. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel your on-demand subscription at any time from your account dashboard.
- After cancellation, your access will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which it will be automatically terminated.
- No partial refunds are issued for unused time during the billing period.
