- Identify signs of insulation aging and evaluate the health of generator windings.
- Determine when & why rewinding is necessary based on technical and operational indicators.
- Develop a technical plan for rewinding, including scheduling and task allocation.
- Understand the winding manufacturing process, from materials to methods.
- Estimate rewinding costs accurately, considering labor, materials, and downtime.
- Identify required materials and workforce, and organize a qualified rewinding team.
- Connect with supply chains and vendors for sourcing winding materials and tools.
- Conduct proper testing and qualification to ensure rewinding quality and performance.
